A Brief Moment Between Two Ice Ages
I am awaked by my
Brief burst of laughter.
The sound–a guffaw, really–too loud,
Breaks the glass between my
Little viewing chamber
And the theme park of experience.
I jump through the window
And play for a little while.
I try to leave it like I found it.
Or maybe I add a little change or two.
Let’s call them Improvements.
I am gone.
My guffaw echoes once or twice.
