So says the Pope, who is infallible. Er … wait. He’s only infallible when what he says exhibits infallibility. So maybe this isn’t one of those times. I guess you have to be the judge.
“”You can’t resolve [AIDS] with the distribution of condoms,” the pope said. “On the contrary, it increases the problem.”
He then goes on to explain in very vague terms how AIDS crisis is a result of bad ethics “in economic structures.” It doesn’t matter if you don’t understand his point: the answer is the church!
(For those of you who don’t know, condoms actually prevent AIDS.)
